Special Education Teacher
Runestone Area Education District is currently seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher.
The teacher will develop and provide specialized academic instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. The majority of the hours will be spent with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students. Job duties will include evaluating and assessing student progress, while following mandated due process procedures and function as IEP manager to assigned students. This is a full-time opportunity working with students Pre-K through grade 12, working in an itinerant role throughout the RAED district.
DHH TEACHER - Part Time
Runestone Area Education district is currently seeking a part time DHH Teacher to work up to 16 hours per week for the 2018-19 School Year. This position will be working in an itinerant job role supporting students with DHH needs who may or may not have other disabilities. The DHH teacher will provide direct and consultative education services to Pre-K through high school age students who are deaf or hard of hearing in multiple school districts. Interested candidates should have experience conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and communicating with parents and interdisciplinary team members.
Special Education Paraprofessional Substitute
The Runestone Area Education District is accepting applications for Special Education Paraprofessional substitutes for the 2018/19 school year. This position will support the teacher in meeting the behavioral, social-emotional, physical and daily needs of students. The positions involves being a part of the special education team that provides educational and other services to students with emotional/behavioral needs.
